Chesnara Life is the new name for the former HSBC Life (UK) business

Chesnara plc is a responsible and profitable company engaged in the management of Life and Pension policies in the UK, Sweden and the Netherlands. The company acquired HSBC Life (UK) from HSBC Group in 2026.

Chesnara Life is part of the Chesnara Group. The Group’s other subsidiaries are Countrywide Assured plc (UK), Movestic (Sweden) and Scildon (Netherlands).

Ways you can do business with us

There are two ways to access the Chesnara Life Onshore Investment Bond

Platforms – offering access to a range of external adviser platforms and used by advisers who have existing relationships with the platform and want to ‘wrap’ client assets in an Onshore Investment Bond.

Chesnara Life Select – available direct from Chesnara Life and open to all advisers.

  • The Chesnara Life Onshore Investment Bond provides investors with access to an extensive range of 3,800+ funds. Fund holdings can be changed if the needs of investors change over time.

  • Chesnara Life Onshore Investment Bond charges are competitive and transparent with all transactions undertaken through a cash account within the bond.

    Our Annual Management Charge:
    • 0.40% for investments between £25,000 to £74,999
    • 0.35% for investments between £75,000 to £149,999
    • 0.30% for investments between £150,000 to £499,999
    • 0.28% for investments between £500,000 to £999,999
    • 0.25% for investments over £1m
